Privacy for this test release

Last updated October 13, 2026.

Your calculations

PayGuess performs its earnings and take-home calculations in your browser. The application does not send calculator inputs or paycheck figures to a PayGuess server.

Optional device storage

“Remember my weeks” saves the earnings settings and weeks you explicitly save on this device. “Remember my occupation and location” saves those entries only when you select it and submit. Unticking either option clears its corresponding saved information. Other browsers/devices do not share this history.

Paycheck details and photos

Manually entered tax and reference-paycheck figures remain in the active page session. PayGuess excludes them from saved weeks, remembered settings, advertising and opportunity links. Use Clear paycheck details or reload the page to clear them. Photo selection and scanning are disabled in this test release; no paystub image is collected by this release.

Opportunity links

When you click Search Indeed, the displayed occupation/search wording, pay target when included, and entered location are sent to Indeed as search parameters. Paycheck tax and deduction figures, costs and saved weekly history are not included. Indeed handles your visit under its own policies. These are ordinary search links; PayGuess has no paid affiliate arrangement connected.

Hosting

The hosting service may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and browser information, and may require sign-in for this private test. That processing is separate from this calculator. This release adds no analytics or advertising scripts, and makes no promise that its hosting service keeps no access records.

Your choices

Use the calculator without saving anything. Clearing site data in your browser removes optional local history and preferences. Never enter an SSN, bank account number or password into PayGuess.

This notice describes the test release, not future features. It must be updated before adding tracking, photo processing, account storage or paid ads.
